Makes (1) 200ml / 7.1oz

Ingredients:

 

 

 

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl or pouring pitcher, add 4 oz/110 mL (½ cup) of filtered water, and microwave for 30 seconds. 
  2. Add 10 ml of liquid soapnut natural surfactant & 5ml of aloe vera gel concentrate 40X to your water and mix gently.
  3. Carefully pour this into your 200 ml white PET foam pump bottle and set the bottle aside. 
  4. In a small beaker or container, combine 0.5 g/.02 oz (~⅛ tsp) of pure xanthan gum and 3 mL/.1 oz of organic flax glycerin and mix with your plastic spatula until the xanthan gum is fully dissolved and a uniform gel is achieved. 
  5. In your pouring pitcher from step 1, add 2.67 oz/75 mL (⅓ cup) of filtered water, and microwave for 30 seconds. 
  6. Once warm, add some water to your beaker and gently mix until the gel evenly blends with the warm water. 
  7. Pour this mixture and your remaining warm water into your 200 ml white PET foam pump bottle and seal tightly.
  8. Shake vigorously to thicken the blend and disperse the xanthan gum.  
  9. Combine your 2 ml of cleartec plant derived preservative and 2 ml of fragrance in another bowl or glass beaker. Stir to mix. Add to your 200ml white pet bottle.
    1. note: if your baby has sensitive or skin that prefers fragrance-free products you can leave the fragrance out and add the preservative directly to your bottle.
  10. If gel clumps are still visible, continue shaking or, allow the mixture to sit for 8-12 hours to allow the gel to completely dissolve and shake again after allowing to hydrate.

    This foaming baby wash & shampoo is naturally tear-free and helps keep baby’s skin soothed and hydrated with nourishing aloe and hydrating glycerin! 

    Made with comparable ingredients to Evereden’s highly reviewed Baby Shampoo & Body Wash, we would suggest a similar retail price ($20) for your foaming baby wash & shampoo!

    Ingredients:

     

    Instructions:

    1. Clean your workspace with soap and water, dry, and then sanitize with >60% alcohol (isopropyl alcohol is sufficient).
    2. Pour 2500ml (11cups) filtered water into a large microwave safe mixing vessel and microwave until warm.  
    3. Add both bottles of your aloe vera gel concentrate (40X) to your warm water and mix completely. 
    4. Add all 4 bottles of your liquid soapnut natural surfactant and mix gently until completely mixed.
    5. In a separate microwave safe mixing vessel, combine 0.5 oz (2 tsp) of pure xanthan gum and 2.5 oz (¼ cup) of organic flax glycerin and mix until the xanthan gum is fully dissolved and a clump-free gel is achieved. 
    6. Use some of your remaining water to fill the mixing vessel, and microwave this mixture for 30 seconds. Mix to create a gel.
    7. Add 2oz of cleartec plant-derived preservative and 2oz of natural calming calendula & lavender powder fragrance with your gel and mix.
    8. Pour this mixture and your remaining water into your main mixing vessel and stir until the gel is evenly mixed. Pour any remaining water in at this point and stir until completely mixed.
    9. If gel clumps are still visible, cover your main mixing vessel and store for 8-12 hours to allow gel to hydrate further. After waiting, mix until the clumps dissolve.
    10. Evenly pour your mixture between your 25 bottles and seal the pumps tightly. *don’t forget* Give yourself a round of applause, you deserve it!
